Our Campaign
Hi! We’re new here! And we are just getting started…
We need your help getting Charlotte Center for the Arts off the ground!
We are planning our Campaign to build Charlotte Center for the Arts as if we were putting on a stage production ourselves. Just as any successful theatrical production requires careful and thoughtful planning and execution, so are we looking ahead to strategize the work ahead to build South Charlotte's Home for Performance and the Arts. "Pre-Production" Phase
Starting Up and Raising Awareness
2025-2026
Years 1-2 (2025-2026) is the "Pre-Production" phase where we are planning, budgeting, and securing funding. We are selecting the script and budgeting for our production, assembling the production team including director, designers, and stage managers, securing a venue for the production, holding auditions, and creating our production timeline and calendar.
More specifically, during this phase we are focused on the following:
-
Raise Awareness and Build the Brand
-
Launch website & social media channels
-
Community engagement: Gather input
-
Build partnerships to amplify the mission
-
Early fundraising efforts
-
Meet with developers & government officials
-
Commission third-party needs assessment and economic impact analysis
-
Establish programming for interim arts engagement and education opportunities
The Charlotte Center for the Arts
"Pre-Production" Phase seeks to raise
$125,000 by the end of 2025
Funds raised will go towards our basic startup costs like community outreach efforts, marketing, and other administrative fees. This will provide the foundation needed to make real progress in 2026 and the years to come!
If you are interested in directing a gift to fund a specific activity or want to know more about how your donation will be used, please reach out to us at giving@artscenterclt.org
