Our Mission
Charlotte Center for the Arts is dedicated to creating an accessible and affordable hub that fosters performance, exhibition, and education, breaking down barriers for artists and audiences while building a vibrant, collaborative arts community that positions South Charlotte as a premier cultural destination.
Our Initiative
We are responding to South Charlotte's lack of dedicated arts facilities by opening a Community Arts Hub to provide a short-term, permanent solution. Long term, we are advancing plans for a 100,000 sq. ft. flagship campus that will serve as a cultural destination and provide performance halls, studios, galleries, and gathering spaces.

Charlotte Center for the Arts Hosts First Youth Arts Festival in Charlotte

More than 400 community members gathered at Stumptown Park for an unforgettable first Youth Arts Festival. From live performances and an engaging Youth Art Gallery to interactive vendor booths and juried awards, the day showcased the incredible talent and passion of young artists from across the region.
